Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti admits their tactics were predictable for victory over Elche.

Real needed a penalty in the 96th minute to decide the result.

Ancelotti said: "I don't like to talk about the opposition, but they played well, they were well organised in defence. They were aggressive, compact and played with real intent at the end. I think that we are going to come across teams that defend well and are hard to break down.

"We need to come up with the different solutions. At the moment the team is playing slowly, there are no options between the lines and we play a lot down the wings and that makes it easy for the opposition's defence".
