Ancelotti admits AC Milan fans "fed up" with him

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti admits he could driven out by the boo-boys after their 1-0 victory over Cagliari yesterday.

"It was a difficult game, but we had that winning moment and held out to the end. That is what we had to do," commented the Coach.

The jeers were particularly loud in the final minutes when Pippo Inzaghi was replaced by Massimo Ambrosini.

"If they were aimed at Inzaghi then those insults were wrong, because he played well. If they were aimed at me, then it's a shame, as I had no other strikers at my disposal.

"Perhaps these jeers are a sign they are getting a little fed up with me and they react the same way to [Clarence] Seedorf.

"When you see the same face for many years, you need a little more patience. As for me, my rapport with the club is the same it was seven years ago with unblemished affection and respect."

Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi criticised the players last week after they gave up a lead to draw 1-1 with UEFA Cup opponents Werder Bremen.

And Ancelotti conceded: "It irritates me too when Milan are in the lead and get caught out. It's only normal that the President would say such things, I see nothing unusual in that.

"My relationship with the President is always blown up by the media, but in truth it is a very different discussion to the one painted in the papers."
