The Milan boss explained: "Ever since president Silvio Berlusconi joined the club, he has instilled a positive attitude throughout the place.

"Milan has had the same staff for 20 years, has changed five or six coaches with former players who have been there for a long time and represent the continuity of the team such as Paolo Maldini.

"When he decides to retire, others will step in and take forward Milan. The application to work, stay disciplined, respect for comrades and opponents is always there.

"For all this, Milan is different from other clubs."
