Carlo Ancelotti admits AC Milan must be at their very best if they're to test Inter in today's derby.

"It is our duty and desire to close the gap. We need a perfect performance, because Inter are so strong that if you do not play to your best then you risk humiliation," said the Rossoneri coach.

"At this moment the Nerazzurri have a few injury problems in midfield, but they manage to cover that with a formidable defence and attack.

"Perhaps Inter do have some weak points, but they are very good at hiding them. The atmosphere of a derby is always wonderful and it's great to go head-to-head like this."

The stars of the show are set to be Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year Kaka.

"Both Ibra and Kaka have a profound impact on the success of their teams. Will Inter use a trident attack? I don't know, but Milan always field three forwards."
