Nicola Amoruso has declared he's leaving Reggina - and hopes to win a move to Spain.
"I have spoken to President Lillo Foti about wanting to leave," the former Juventus flop revealed on Radio Kiss Kiss. "After three years I think that it is only right to give some space to young talent like Christian Stuani and for me to leave so they can change things a bit.
"I have had a great time in Reggio Calabria. I have a great relationship with the people and the fans, but I maintain that it is the right time to make a change. In August I will turn 34 and I would like at some stage to experience football in Spain, but I can see it will be difficult because the President won't let me go lightly.
"I had hoped for my contract to be rescinded, but that won't happen now. Foti has asked me to understand his motives and I just ask that he understands mine."
