Amoruso: All change at Reggina

Nicola Amoruso admits it's all change at Reggina.

Rolando Bianchi has signed for Manchester City, Giandomenico Mesto has gone to Udinese, Pasquale Foggia to Lazio and Coach Walter Mazzarri moved on to Europe with Sampdoria.

Veteran striker Amoruso said: "A completely new squad is being born this summer. A section of the old guard preferred to make other choices and we have totally taken apart the team that had such a great campaign. I think that other important stars could decide to leave, too."

Amoruso is one of them, as the striker has been linked with a transfer to Parma's Stadio Tardini.

"I feel that I am a Reggina player, but will evaluate carefully all offers that I receive - if I receive them! President Lillo Foti gave Parma a price-tag, but they considered it to be too steep. We'll see what will happen. One thing is for sure, if I get the chance I will evaluate my current position."

Not only are many of the players new to Serie A in this Reggina side, but Coach Massimo Ficcadenti will also be making his top flight debut.

"He is a good tactician. It's not easy to work with the new system he wants to use, the 4-3-3, but there is time before the season kicks off and we are all trying to get to know each other better. There are so many new arrivals, it is impossible to gel the side that quickly."
