American goalkeeper Dominic Cervi has been offered a three year deal to join Celtic. The 22 year old is hoping to obtain an EU passport through his Italian parents so that he can win a work permit to enable him to seal his move to Glasgow.

"The trial went well, I played well and I guess they liked what they saw," Cervi told the Daily Record.

"I'm pretty excited about getting back to the club and things look good."
