Released Chelsea goalkeeper Marco Amelia is a target for Nottingham Forest.

Forest are tracking former Chelsea and AC Milan goalkeeper Amelia, according to Sport Mediaset.

The Italian stopper is currently a free agent following his release from Stamford Bridge and it is understood he would welcome the chance to play in the Sky Bet Championship.

Amelia recently trained with David Moyes' Sunderland but they opted against signing the 34-year-old and signed Mika from Boavista.
