Massimo Ambrosini has penned a new deal with AC Milan to 2013.

The midfielder had been one of many players whose deals were set to expire this summer.

While others such as Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso, Pippo Inzaghi, Clarence Seedorf, Gianluca Zambrotta and Mark van Bommel will walk away, Ambrosini put pen to paper on a new contract.
