AC Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini insists the club 'remains great' after their mass exodus.

Ambrosini says that every club in the world will have to change sooner or later - after Milan sold Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

"Football consists of men and their personalities," the 35-year-old told Sky Sport Italia. "Milan, although changing, has always remained great.

"Right now I don't know what will happen, but each year there are changes to be made because we players aren't eternal."
