Promoted Cagliari are seeking a massive name for their Serie A return.

The Sardinians have held talks with released Crystal Palace striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

And the trail hasn't stopped there, TMW says talks have also been held with former Chelsea and Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o.

Eto'o, 35, played last season in Turkey with Antalyaspor.

Cagliari are also in negotiations with Atalanta veteran Marco Borriello.
