Manchester City are chasing Palermo striker Amauri.

Controcampo says City are competing with AC Milan and Barcelona for the Brazilian hotshot, who has just returned from long-term knee injury.

While Milan and Barca are attractive to Amauri, the Brazilian is also keen to hear from Sven Goran Eriksson's City with compatriot Elano enjoying some of his best football now at Eastlands.
