Amauri left angry as Palermo held by Udinese

Palermo striker Amauri was furious at the end of last night's 1-1 draw with Udinese.

Udinese defender Felipe managed to head home an equaliser after Fabio Simplicio had put Palermo ahead.

"I am angry," Amauri told Sky Italia television after the final whistle. "We were playing at home and these are games we should be winning.

"We were in the lead and were still unable to bring in all three points. We must improve, although this was a step forward."

The heroics of Udinese goalkeeper Samir Handanovic prevented Palermo from scoring more this evening.

"In any case, we have improved a great deal from earlier performances and need to continue along this path. Now it depends on us. If every member of the team gives a little extra, we can do it."
