Palermo striker Amauri admits he's consciously avoiding the transfer gossip in the newspapers.

The Brazilian has been linked with AC Milan and Barcelona and he said: "I do not read the market news in the newspapers because I think only to play well with Palermo. Milan or Barcelona? These are two great clubs, where everyone wants to play."

Asked if he could play for Italy in next year's European Championships, Amauri replied: "No, there is no news on my passport."
