Juventus striker Amauri is excited about the season ahead.

He said: "I am happy to have got back the Number 11, as I found success with that shirt in recent years. It was Pavel Nedved's number, a great player and wonderful man. He could've played another two or three seasons."

On the potential arrival of Fiorentina midfielder Felipe Melo, Amauri continued: "We are stronger than we were a year ago and if Melo does arrive, then it's a fantastic signing.

"We have Diego, who had a great campaign with Werder Bremen and we hope he can do even better in Turin."
