Alvaro Medran has been informed he is a required player at Real Madrid.

The midfielder met with Real directors late, last week at the Santiago Bernabeu offices.

Medran, who was the Castilla's outstanding player last season, was told he would be added to the first team for preseason.

Medran featured in the Champions League this season with Real.
