Lazio defender Alvaro Gonzalez admits he could be on the move in January.

Gonzalez has struggled for first team action this season.

"This has not been a good six months, even if things have improved a little recently. The injury I picked up on international duty prevented me from fighting consistently for a starting spot.

"I am convinced that from January onwards I'll be back on level terms with the others. I could also choose to leave and go elsewhere.

"I still have two years left on my contract with Lazio and do not see leaving Italy as an immediate prospect.

"In future, though, I'd like to go back to wearing the jerseys of Defensor Sporting and Nacional."
