Spanish defender Alvaro Dominguez has confirmed he's fielded offers from Liverpool and Galatasaray.

The former Atletico Madrid defender currently plays in Germany with Borussia Monchengladbach.

"Yes, it's true. Galatasaray and Liverpool have contacted me but I will stay with Borussia.

"I am here and I am happy. I have what I need.

"I have spoken to the club and they told me that I am an important player."
