Inter Milan boss Gian Piero Gasperini is pleased with the first week of training from new recruit Ricky Alvarez.
Alvarez set up a goal for Samuel Eto'o and was again impressive in their friendly win over Cremonese.
Gasperini said: "In just a few days we have catapulted him from one style of football to another that is very different. He handled the transition as naturally as only great players can do.
"There are no doubts we are dealing with a player who has great technique and character.
"Lucio is a player we are counting on and wait for his return from international duty to prepare for the new season."
