Aluko set to complete Hull switch after leaving Rangers

Sone Aluko will today complete his transfer to Championship club Hull City after departing Rangers recently.

The 23-year old English-born Nigerian winger spent a successful six months with 'Gers before he decided not to switch his contract over to Charles Green's newco and he is now set to sign a two-year deal with the Tigers.

Aluko, who has passed a medical at the KC Stadium, is on the verge of reuniting with former Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce who is looking forward to securing the services of the highly-talented attacker.

"I have always kept my eye on Sone," Bruce said.

"He can play across the front positions, whether it's through the middle or on either flank.

"He's very quick, direct at running and he's a very good finisher too."
