Aluko indicates he could be keen for Rangers stay

Sone Aluko has suggested he could be happy to stay with Rangers amidst reports of a possible departure.

The Nigerian winger has been in stellar form for 'Gers since arriving on a short-term deal in November, scoring five goals and providing three assists in 14 league appearances, prompting clubs outside Scotland to show considerable interest.

Spanish outfit Rayo Vallecano have already held talks with Aluko's people whilst some clubs in England are believed to be keen but the 23-year old insists he will listen to whatever the financially-stricken 'Gers can offer before heading off.

"We'll see what happens next," Aluko told the Daily Record.

"There are a lot of things going on at the club but it will get to the point where I will sit down with them and take it from there.

"It is not something I am looking at right now.

"I am concentrating on playing and winning games for Rangers and carrying on my good form. That is my only focus just now.

"We are all dependant on the situation and what happens, so once the club figures out what the next step is I will decide as well."
