Aluko calls for Rangers focus as title race heats up

Sone Aluko has implored his teammates to remain focused on the job at hand as Rangers strive for four Scottish Premier League titles in a row.

'Gers went within one point of league leaders Celtic - who were busy with League Cup duties on the weekend - when they beat Hibernian 4-0 at Ibrox on Saturday and Aluko, who scored a brilliant free-kick in the win, feels the Glasgow giants simply need to continue winning to keep the pressure on Celtic.

"We have to just focus on ourselves and trying to keep winning games," Aluko said.

"We can't really focus on what they're doing. They have to try to win games the same as us. As long as we win our games and do what we can do, hopefully in the end it will be enough.

"When we had a big gap, people were writing off Celtic. That's what people are going to do, it creates good stories.

"I think it will go down to the wire and hopefully we have enough to win the league."
