Giuseppe Rossi is in front on the pecking order for strikers at Villarreal but, US Men's National Team striker Jozy Altidore is glad to have him in Spain.

Altidore told yanksabroad.com: "Definitely, it's good having him there - a guy that speaks English. He's 21 and played at Manchester United, Parma, Newcastle, he's a great mentor to have."

Altidore also stated he is adapting to life in Europe.

"My Spanish is coming along not too bad, I feel good, actually, speaking it, taking lessons - so I'm getting better."
