Liverpool's Xabi Alonso has stressed the importance of scoring away to Real Madrid in next Wednesday's Champions League clash.
The Spaniard says the Reds will do all they can to score whilst focusing on keep a clean sheet, which will hold them in good stead to move through to the next stage.
"Scoring at the Bernabeu is massively important to us because it would fill us with hope ahead of the second game at Anfield," he said.
"It would improve our chances of qualification and would boost our morale.
"If you don't score in the first leg, conceding one in the second is a massive blow and would force you to attack all the way.
"It's going to be a very open tie for all the players and for the spectators."
