Chelsea's 3-1 victory over Arsenal is worth "six points" to Antonio Conte's side, according to Marcos Alonso.
The Blues victory opened up a 12-point gap over Arsene Wenger's side, whose title hopes are now in serious jeopardy after back-to-back defeats.
"We controlled the game for the 90 minutes. We're a little bit disappointed with the goal we conceded but it was a very good performance from everyone," the Spaniard told Chelsea's official website.
"Now we need to keep our focus and concentration. We're enjoying a good run. Three points against a direct opponent is like six points."
Chelsea will have an opportunity to extend their lead when they travel to Burnley next weekend.
"We just need to go game by game. After this win the result in midweek [1-1 draw vs Liverpool] is an even better point.
"We are working hard during the week and you can see that, we are giving everything on the pitch and getting results," he added.
