Sydney FC striker and former Socceroos star John Aloisi has urged Mark Viduka to keep his international options open. The Newcastle United talisman is undecided about his career with the Australian national team but Aloisi believes he still has plenty to offer.
"If Dukes wants to play then I think he should be in there," Aloisi said.
"I don't think we have a player like him. Viduka has got more experience than the other strikers, in terms of playing at the highest level (domestically) and at a World Cup.
"I think Australia could do with him. But whatever he decides, I'm sure he'll make the right decision. If he keeps on playing overseas then I'm sure he'll continue to play at a high level.
"If he decides to come home at some point in the future then that would be brilliant for the A-League. But as for the Socceroos let's hope he plays again for the national team."
