"I discussed all the options with Olympiacos and there was an agreement between the clubs for a loan deal with a possible buy-out in the summer," agent Roberto Calenda explained.

"But the lad decided that he would rather stay put and see what happens. He wanted to wait a bit and the Greeks weren't willing to delay."
