Almeria president Alfonso Garcia admits he resisted several offers over the summer for striker Alvaro Negredo.

Asked if Tottenham had made an approach for Negredo this month, Garcia said: "No. In the summer there were several offers that were passed by fax, but were not profitable for the club."
