Almeria president Alfonso Garcia admits wing-back Felipe Melo could be on his way to Fiorentina.

"Officially, there has been nothing," said Garcia. "I do not know if the player will go to Italy. I know that Fiorentina had come asking for him and we were referred them to his buyout clause. If they pay it, that is £5 million, we cannot do anything.

"Melo knows more than us about this story."
