Almeria coach Hugo Sanchez was given a rousing reception by Real Madrid fans prior to their 3-0 defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"The reception was incredible, something that is appreciated from the people who have not forgotten that I helped to fight for the greatness of this club. Thank you. And I'll always be grateful," said Sanchez.
"It gives me great pleasure to come to Madrid. Madrid was my home for 13 years. The Santiago Bernabeu, seven."
