Australian striker Danny Allsopp has fired DC United to their first win of the 2010 MLS season. The former Melbourne Victory and Al-Rayyan forward scored in the 12th minute of the 2-1 win over the Kansas City Wizards with an assist from Rodney Wallace to give United the lead before doubling their advantage in the 34th minute.

The Wizards hit back in injury time through Kei Kamara but it wasn't enough to undo the good early work of Allsopp as DCU grabbed their first three pointer of the campaign.
