Spurs have been involved in impressive title pursuits during the last two seasons, but they have managed to come short at critical moments on both the occasions.

Kane said: "Definitely (we can win the title). When you look at our points compared to last season.

"We finished the season unbeaten at home. We're disappointed after losing out of the title again but we have to get stronger from it. We're getting better. Third, second and hopefully next year we will be No 1.

Alli added: "Definitely. We've shown we have improved from last season and we need to keep working hard and make sure we're well prepared for next season.

"We've still got two more games to go and we want to finish the season as strong as possible. Like Harry said we're improving every season.

"We hear a lot about it being not very good for us. But what happened in the Champions League last season was not down to Wembley, it was down to our own performance.

"We know that. It's an unbelievable stadium. Next season it's going to be our home so it needs to be a fortress."
