Martin Allen took charge of Notts County for the first time and whilst pleased with the effort of his troops admits there is 'still work to do' after a 2-1 reverse at Yeovil. Allen said: "Energy, effort and commitment from the players was good. They had a go. We could have done with a bit of quality but we created more chances in the first half and could have gone ahead.
"I am not going to pick out individuals or criticise individual - I couldn't knock the effort. We scored a good equaliser but we didn't stay on terms long enough.
"We were at the ground until late on Tuesday night and worked on set pieces in a field on the way down to Yeovil. But obviously there is still work to do."
