Joe Allen is excited to get the chance to play alongside Wilfried Bony at Stoke City.

The Ivory Coast striker has joined the Potters on a season-long loan from Manchester City and according to Allen, there is a fair bit of buzz surrounding the arrival of the former Swansea City star.

"Now everyone is talking about the impact Bony will have at Stoke, and the boys who played with him at Swansea talk very highly of him," said former Swans ace Allen who joined Stoke from Liverpool in the summer.

"So I'm looking forward to getting back up there now and playing alongside him."

Bony is expected to make his debut for the Potters in this Saturday's home meeting with Tottenham Hotspur.
