Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic is keen on a move to England.

Calciomercato.com says Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri is desperate to keep hold of the forward.

Juventus offered the 32-year-old to Manchester United last week, with Jose Mourinho said to be keen on a striking a deal.

It is believed Mandzukic is ready for one final challenge in his career with the Premier League being the only one of Europe's top four leagues he is yet to test himself in.

Allegri, though, is prepared to give the Croatian assurances over his playing time and offer him a more prominent role in the side.
