AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri was happy to maintain their Serie A leadership after victory over Brescia. Kevin-Prince Boateng, Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored spectacular goals in the victory.
The 3-0 hammering of Brescia consolidated their Serie A leadership with a three-point gap from Lazio.
"I really cared about winning tonight and we did get off to a strong start, then we relaxed a bit," said the Coach.
"After the second goal we kicked back into gear and got the third, then it all seemed a lot easier. We can be happy with what we did this evening.
"There is a long road ahead of us, as don't forget last season Roma took 14 points off Inter's lead. We've got 33 so far and that's not even enough to guarantee safety, let alone a Scudetto, so we need to maintain this pace.
"It wasn't easy against Brescia, as we could've had the wrong approach and run into trouble."
