AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has thanked fans for supporting him.

The Curva Sud unveiled a banner at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday night which read: 'More respect for our Mr Allegri.'

"The fans have got behind me since the day I arrived at Milan and they have also supported the team," he stated.

"They have really backed us this season which has been more difficult than the first two years I have been here."
