Allegri excited working with new AC Milan signing Ibrahimovic
AC Milan coach Max Allegri is excited about the prospect of working with new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Milan announced the capture of the Barcelona striker yesterday.
“If the President does buy Ibrahimovic, we will all be very happy, because he is a champion who can complete an already very strong strike force,” said the Coach.
“I wouldn’t say Milan are Scudetto contenders with Ibra, as I think this squad is strong enough to challenge even without him.
“Having said that, the trident of Pato-Ibrahimovic-Ronaldinho will be the best attack in Europe. Plus we have Marco Borriello, Pippo Inzaghi and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, all world class forwards.
“In any case, the most important thing is the game with Lecce. Hopefully we can celebrate Ibrahimovic’s arrival with a victory. Borriello shouldn’t be worried, as he had an exceptional campaign and it’s impossible to always play the same XI.”
