Juventus coach Max Allegri has warned his board going into new contract talks.

After victory over Carpi, Allegri tellingly stated he wanted assurances about transfer market ambitions before penning any new deal.

"No announcement, we will meet over the next week," he said.

"Juventus will have a competitive squad for Serie A and the Champions League. We need to make some evaluations in midfield."
