AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri admits anxiety had grown within his squad after a dismal start to the season.
Milan had lost three of their first four League games, but they got back to winning ways with a triumph over Cagliari in midweek.
"You unconsciously start to have a little fear when results are lacking," said Allegri.
"We're in better shape now. We played with 10 and then nine men in Udine, but we attacked in an effort to save the game.
"We are growing, but we have to try and make even fewer mistakes and read games better. Obviously mistakes are going to happen.
"It's normal that we would have hoped to have got 15 points. But the season is very long and the championship is well balanced.
"We have six so far, now we need to think about Parma."
