England boss Sam Allardyce wants Leicester City assistant Craig Shakespeare to join his coaching staff.
Allardyce initially approached Bayern Munich assistant coach Paul Clement to work with him during international breaks, but his job-sharing proposal was rejected by the Bundesliga giants.
The former Newcastle United, West Ham United and Sunderland manager has now shifted his attention towards Shakespeare, who was a key figure in Leicester's title triumph last season.
For his efforts last season, he was awarded a new contract by the Foxes in May, but Allardyce is eager to get him working with the Three Lions.
