West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce wants to open new contract talks.
The Sun says he is pressing West Ham's owners for contract talks BEFORE the end of the season.
Big Sam insisted: "We'll sit down when we're safe. What's the point me waiting until the end of the season if we're mathematically safe with a few games to go?"
Allardyce's words fly in the face of co-chairman David Gold's assertion earlier this month that the club would not discuss a new deal until this summer, when the manager's contract runs out.
