Sam Allardyce will make his bow as England manager in a friendly against Croatia at Wembley Stadium on September 1, according to reports.
The FA are still in talks with their Croatian counterparts over the friendly and are set to conclude negotiations in the coming days.
The former West Ham United and Newcastle United manager, who was recently confirmed as the new England boss after leaving Sunderland, is expected to be officially unveiled at a press conference at St George's Park on Monday.
Three days after the friendly with Croatia, the Three Lions will begin their 2018 World Cup qualification campaign against Slovakia.
