Allardyce slams West Ham home form

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce says their home form has been "unacceptable".

The Hammers have lost their opening two league games at Upton Park.

Allardyce said: "We lost in the last minute at home against Tottenham when we really should have won the game and had it out of sight.

"Then we were abysmal when we played Southampton. We have to get the home form right.

"We have come away from home and won one and drawn one but lost two at home and that's not acceptable, particularly with our 35,000 home supporters wanting us to entertain, but also win football matches and that is what we have to do.

"It's a big task against Liverpool. We've upset the apple cart before in my time and hopefully on Saturday we can play to our top level and can upset Liverpool."
