Newcastle United boss Sam Allardyce has slated his players after a dismal week.

When asked whether he was happy that his future is in the hands of his players, Allardyce replied: "No, not really.

"But these are the players I've got. Some I've bought and some I haven't.

"Some have showed me what they can do, in fact most of them have showed me what they can do on the good side of things.

"But too many are showing me what they can do on the bad side of it.

"We're still in a reasonably good position, but the worrying part for me is the performance level of the team."
