Sam Allardyce is ready to discuss a new contract with Blackburn Rovers.

The People says Allardyce has a review clause in his deal at Rovers and escaping relegation has strengthened his negotiating hand.

The club are ready to sort out his pay scale and also allow a couple of new backroom additions, but the main debate still rages over the amount of money for next season's deals.

Allardyce is unhappy at being told to slash the wage bill by £5million and is pushing for more.
