Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is keen for fans to keep flooding into Ewood Park next season.
Last season, Rovers bucked the Premier League trend by increasing their attendances and, again offering the best value season tickets in the top two divisions, early sales suggest Ewood will enjoy good crowds again this time round.
With fans behind both goals for the majority of games, Allardyce insists the 'fortress Ewood' atmosphere has inspired his side over the past 12 months and believes the more supporters who turn out next season the better..
He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "We will look to continue what has been an outstanding home record since day one of me being here.
"We have to keep that up and running and hopefully the fans will help us again. I am sure the fans will have been out and bought those super value season tickets for next season and hopefully we will improve on the size of the crowd.
"If we do that then we will be as big if not bigger a force at home this season as last. I think the first two home games are very, very difficult and Birmingham away after what they did last year and Manchester City away. The first four games are very, very difficult indeed.
"I see Birmingham have been spending already, £6million for a 6ft 7ins giant, Zigic. It is quite a tough start and then we all know how good Fulham have been and Blackpool will still be on a high having got promoted."
