West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce says he won't beg for a new contract from his paymasters.
Allardyce revealed he had never needed to ask for an extension at West Ham. At one stage, it appeared co-chairman David Sullivan and David Gold were stalling on an offer.
"I'm not begging for a contract," Allardyce said.
"Never had to beg for a contract at all. Our understanding was we'll see where we are (at the end of the season), which was more my idea than theirs."
