Sam Allardyce hopes to welcome Nikola Kalinic to Blackburn Rovers today.

Rovers boss Allardyce hopes to get the green light to tie up the £6million signing of Croatian star Kalinic today, says The Sun.

The Hadjuk Split ace, 21, has a work permit hearing but Rovers do not foresee any problems as Kalinic is already an international.

Big Sam has also brought in Chelsea striker Franco di Santo on loan and is giving trials to former Watford hitman Nathan Ellington.
