Allardyce firm favourite for Sunderland vacancy

Former Bolton Wanderers and Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce is the bookmakers favourite to take charge at Sunderland in the wake of Roy Keane's departure.

Allardyce has been out of a job since being sacked by Mike Ashley at Newcastle, and how Sunderland fans will react to that fact could influence if the 54 year old is installed as manager.

The bookies are quoting 'Big Sam' as 5/4 favourite.

Wow, Sunderland would be lucky if they can bring in Allardyce, he is an excellent coach.
